Who We Are
What Is Bangladesh Lawyers Club
Bangladesh Lawyers Club (BLC) is a non-profit, non-political organization established under Section 28 of the Companies Act, 1994. Founded by a group of committed lawyers, the Club was created with a vision to support the poor, landless, and underprivileged communities in Bangladesh by providing access to resources, training, and opportunities for self-employment and income generation. Over the years, BLC has grown into a platform that not only empowers marginalized communities but also works for the welfare, professional development, and well-being of lawyers and their families. The Club organizes seminars, workshops, legal training programs, and awareness campaigns to promote knowledge sharing, skill development, and social responsibility among both legal professionals and the public. By fostering collaboration with national and international organizations, bar associations, and development partners, BLC strengthens justice, equality, and socio-economic development across the country. BLC also encourages community-building and recreational activities, including sports clubs and cultural events for lawyers, to create a sense of unity and holistic growth within the legal fraternity. Every initiative of the Club is carefully designed to ensure that resources and income are fully utilized to advance its mission. At its core, Bangladesh Lawyers Club is committed to building a society where justice, opportunity, and empowerment are accessible to all. We believe that by combining legal expertise, social engagement, and innovative programs, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of the disadvantaged while strengthening the legal community and promoting a culture of fairness, equality, and social responsibility throughout Bangladesh.
