What Is Bangladesh Lawyers Club
Bangladesh Lawyers Club (BLC) is a non-profit and non-political organization established under Section 28 of the Companies Act 1994. Founded by a group of dedicated legal professionals, BLC is committed to promoting the rule of law, advancing legal awareness, and fostering professional excellence within Bangladesh's legal community. The Club serves as a collaborative platform for lawyers, legal professionals, law students, and stakeholders to exchange knowledge, strengthen professional skills, and contribute to the development of the justice sector. Through seminars, conferences, training programs, legal research, and public awareness initiatives, BLC encourages ethical legal practice, continuous learning, and leadership within the profession. BLC also works to improve access to justice, promote legal education, and support community-based initiatives that benefit underprivileged and vulnerable communities. By building partnerships with bar associations, academic institutions, government bodies, and national and international organizations, the Club contributes to legal reform, social development, and the protection of human rights. Bangladesh Lawyers Club (BLC) is a non-profit, non-political organization established under Section 28 of the Companies Act, 1994. Founded by a group of committed lawyers, the Club was created with a vision to support the poor, landless, and underprivileged communities in Bangladesh by providing access to resources, training, and opportunities for self-employment and income generation. Over the years, BLC has grown into a platform that not only empowers marginalized communities but also works for the welfare, professional development, and well-being of lawyers and their families. The Club organizes seminars, workshops, legal training programs, and awareness campaigns to promote knowledge sharing, skill development, and social responsibility among both legal professionals and the public. By fostering collaboration with national and international organizations, bar associations, and development partners, BLC strengthens justice, equality, and socio-economic development across the country. BLC also encourages community-building and recreational activities, including sports clubs and cultural events for lawyers, to create a sense of unity and holistic growth within the legal fraternity. Every initiative of the Club is carefully designed to ensure that resources and income are fully utilized to advance its mission.
